Creating a new portal page based on Flash

Over Christmas break, I have dedicated myself to create an interactive homepage in Adobe Flash. A new portal page was designed with entry points to various platforms around the bodybuilder theme at Mercedes-Benz. After discussion, the page was not released, because generally, the existence of a so-called parent home has been questioned. Nevertheless, I found the new challenge really exciting, because I have learned again some tricks of working with Flash. Here are some features:
- Homepage with various small embedded Flash movies,
- Multilingual support (available at presentation time in 2 languages, upgradable in the x-languages)

Creating a flash banner with dynamic content

As part of the activities at Daimler AG, I have expanded my knowledge in the creation of Flash content. For page www.vanpartner.info I have a created a flash banner by analogy to the websites of Mercedes-Benz. The following features were added:
- Flash in 8 languages,
- Integration of text, images and links on dynamic content,
- Integration of special fonts to display on other systems,
- Easily adaptable for other themes and content.

Internationalisation of the Bodybuilder Portal

After almost 2 years of the project for conversion of the Bodybuilder Portal is completed over several languages. It started with the topic of my thesis in 2007. Early 2008, it was then implemented as a project where I took the end of 2008, the Project Leader.
- The portal has tied to the language tool of the Language Management of Daimler AG. New translation requests are initiated by means of an observed order screen, and controlled.
- All applications, such as the CMS TYPO3, but also the tools for further processing, assignment, or retrieval of data are sent by the languages for translation. Here one determines the difference between voice mail always old and new who came to content.
For the realisation I would like to thank all the times involved. Of the service providers for the implementation of the internal interfaces for the tests to IT for coordination.
